A map to help you find Southern Exposure‘s 60+ Chicago South Side buildings and parks.
As I read my brand new copy of Southern Exposure, Chicago architecture writer Lee Bey’s survey of the overlooked architecture of the South Side, I placed the locations he discusses on this map. Some places I have seen, but many I have not, yet.
On this map, I have marked sixty-eight of the book’s locations and added some photos to the markers so users can confirm they are in or looking at the right place. I’ll add more as I use the map to see these places for myself.
An alphabetical list of all the sites is located below the map. A click on the list will jump you to the location on the map.
