My Favorite Thing is Monsters is Emil Ferris’ two volume graphic novel that tells the story of pre-teen Karen Reyes whose two favorite things are creature features and her older brother Deez. In late 1960s Uptown self identified “werewolf” Karen searches for the cause of her neighbor Anka’s death…and her true self.
