On February 28 Preservation Chicago published its yearly list of seven structures that are the most in danger of being lost.
There are eight entries this year. Even more really since they are counting “brick streets and alleys” only as one. On the map I have placed a marker where there are several alleys in the area.
Each marker will tell you the style of architecture/type of structure, the year of construction, and the designer/architect. A link to Preservation Chicago’s write up for each has been added for further detail.
A ghost white sad face will tell you it’s gone.
