To save their childhood orphange, two good-for-nothing brothers travel the Chicago area getting the band back together.

Included on the map are 42 existing Chicago locations used in The Blues Brothers movie. I have relied heavily on the invaluable blog Itisfilmedthere. Have a look there for a complete record of all the Blues Brothers locations and more Chicago film and TV filming sites.

Find this map with other points of interest on The Map  or in non-Covid 19 times contact me for a guided bike tour that includes these locations.

  1. Thank you so much for compiling this map. I used it to visit some of the locations during a brief Chicago visit. Loved to see some of the spots.
Joliet Prison is really worth a visit. Ray`s Music Exchange was torn down recently. The land is for sale.

    1. Hi Joachim, Thanks for commenting. I’m happy to know the map was helpful. Hopefully the outdated Ray’s info didn’t mess with you too much 😀 I’ve updated the map to indicate its modern state. Here’s a link (2020) talking about the fire that led to its demo. 2020! I now remember saving that to my “update maps” folder but it fell through my cracks! http://www.blockclubchicago.org/2020/06/16/iconic-rays-music-exchange-mural-from-blues-brothers-dance-scene-lost-after-building-burns-during-unrest/
