On this 20 mile full day itinerary, tour participants indicated in a pre-ride questionnaire that they were most interested in seeing the street art of Chicago. Locations known for a high concentration of street art act as destination points.
We’ll meet on the west side in the heart of Ukranian Village near the popular Wicker Park/Bucktown neighborhoods. From there we’ll ride south through the quickly changing Fulton market and the traditionally Latino Pilsen. The tour returns back north to travel up Milwaukee Avenue through trendy Wicker Park and Logan Square, returning to the start via Chicago’s Bloomingdale 606 trail and its adjacent art.
What we’ll do:
- Ride under the historic “L”
- Get a taste of the craft beer scene (if requested)
- Visit several historic distinct neighborhoods
- See:
- Long time and brand new art
- the city’s wide range of architecture
- Late 1800s mansions
- some of Chicago’s hottest neighborhoods
