On this 25 mile full day itinerary, we ride through several distinct neighborhoods that are not always included on Chicago tours.
We’ll meet in the heart of Ukranian Village near the popular Wicker Park/Bucktown neighborhoods. From there we’ll ride through the trendy Fulton market, traditionally Latino Pilsen, Irish Bridgeport, the modernist university IIT, historically African American near South side, and Chinatown.
What we’ll do:
- Ride under the historic “L”
- Get a taste of the craft beer scene (if requested)
- Visit several historically distinct neighborhoods
- See:
- the city’s wide range of architecture
- Late 1800s mansions
- 1920s gangster locales
- Jane Adams Hull house
- skyscraper views
- historic African American churches
- cluster of early 1900s movable bridges
